Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to market we go. La la la la la la la la, hi ho, hi ho hi ho hi ho.
This is what I sang as I packed my bags Thursday evening. Excitement and nerves colliding together. I had never been to Market. What was I going to see? Who was I going to meet? What in the heck is Market??
These thoughts and many more came and went the week leading up to Cory and I's trip to High Point, NC. We were leaving our kids (don't worry, we left them with family) and headed off to learn, explore and experience all we could in furniture and furniture accessory buying.
High Point, NC is the "furniture capital of the world". And High Point Market is the largest furnishings trade show in the world. With 180 buildings, 11.5 million square feet of show space and 75,000 attendees, this Market is no joke.
We spent two days exploring the Market. The Market consisted of large name brand companies as well as lesser known, but equally as exciting companies. We were able to find our niche and make some great contacts and relationships.
We were even able to get a sneak peak at the new Magnolia Home Furniture line by none other than the fabulous and inspiring Joanna Gaines. Unfortunately we were not aloud to take pictures in the show room, but I was able to get this shot next to her poster :).
I am so excited to share with you over the coming months all of the great products we discovered. Thank you High Point Market for a very memorable experience.
