In honor of Valentine's Day today I am going to get a little personal here on my blog. Today's post is not really about decor or renovation, but about life and love.
Cory and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary about two and half weeks ago. In preparation for the big day we contemplated different ways to celebrate. Travel, gifts....but ultimately decided a vow renewal at home was the best idea.
What better way to celebrate our life together for the past 10 years then to include our family and friends, old and new, in our renewal ceremony.
We had a small ceremony at our church and then a lovely reception at our home. It was so wonderful to open our doors to those we love and to celebrate. Each room was filled with laughter, conversation and memory making. It was truly a day I will cherish forever.
I know I am not the same girl I was 10 years ago. I have grown, matured, become a mother three times over. I have become more patient and understanding. I worry more and I care more then I ever thought possible. Though I know I have changed and grown as a person, my love for my husband has always stood strong. He is and always will be my rock, my love and my best friend.
Happy Valentine's Day to you all! The wonderful pictures were taken by my friend Susan Go. She has an awesome photography business. If you live in the area, check her out! www.susangophotography.com
